There has been some confusion about tinted visors being allowed because some venue lighting makes it so that visors that meet the guidelines (e.g., the S1 and Triple 8 visors) appear dark enough that the wearer’s eyes cannot be seen.
In order to clarify this, we have updated the Risk Management Guidelines to remove this requirement that the eyes must be seen. Tinted visors are allowed, but mirrored and iridium visors are not.
The Risk Management Guidelines, Quick Reference Guide, and Risk Management Clarifications have been updated.
